Hello!

Let me introduce myself

I’m Christen and I LOVE to travel…anywhere!

The first time I ever went oversees was when I was a freshman in High school and got to go to Paris, France on a mission trip with my school. Since then, I’ve been to a few other places like London, Rwanda, Germany, and Greece! See, it’s kind of in my blood haha.

I’m a small town girl from Washington, Illinois, but moved in Boulder, CO. on October 1st 2018.I spend most of my days going on adventures, hiking, asking friends to join me for spontaneous photoshoots, or working as a barista at the nearby coffee shop.

Even though I graduated college with an Associates in Art focused on Graphic Design, I’ve been a professional photographer for the past 4 years. Documentary, Intimate Elopements, Engagements, and Fashion photoshoots are my favorite subjects to shoot.

Since moving out to Boulder over a year ago, I’ve been involved in an art program called The Oakley House, where young professionals can cultivate their talents in a creative environment. My focus has been on refugees and art ministry.

The purpose of this blog is to provide a space for awareness… to spread light onto the refugee crisis. Next trip…..Thailand/Burma!

Most importantly, my faith in Christ is who has made me the person I am today. I hope to love God and love others with all my heart!

Mark 12:30-31, “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” This is my passion in life to love and serve the Lord my God with all that I am and to show Christ’s love to all his children.
